This replica is based on the sword of English knight Sir William Marshall, Earl of Pembroke, who lived from 1146 to 1219. A light, well-balanced type XIa, it served primarily as a cavalry weapon. Made from carbon steel with a hardness of 52–54 HRC, the blade measures 84 cm and the overall length is 101 cm. The sword weighs about 1 kg and comes with a sharp edge. The point of balance sits about 20 cm below the cross-guard, allowing you to put more force behind each blow.
