The hip pleats are distributed across the waist so you can tie them extra tightly. These pants are made following the historical predecessor of Rus Viking pants. An early Viking pattern that gives you enormous freedom of movement. Laced at the waist and below the knees, the pants fit snugly at the calf — pair them with leg wraps or boots for a complete look. To find your size, measure the circumference of your calf.
