A beautiful helmet for Viking reenactment. This Spangenhelm is inspired by the helmets the Vikings wore. It features cheek valves, a further development from Roman helmets, and a nose piece that protected the entire face without blocking the field of vision.

Maintenance & Care
Prevent rust by oiling your armor regularly. If needed, remove rust easily with black sandpaper.
Choose the best size
Wearing a wambuis cap under your helmet? Add 3.5 cm to your head circumference.
Wearing a mail hood under your helmet? Add 2.5 cm to your head circumference.
Wearing both a wambuis and a maliënkap under your helmet? Add 6 cm to your head circumference.
This armor is 1 mm thick and suitable for LARP battles, costumes, and cosplay.
Tip: how to adjust the owner's finish and weapons
Luxury (polished) – Polish the steel with metal polish or toothpaste. You can even polish the article further this way. Test on a small area first!
Handmade (matte) – Place the steel in cola for 40 minutes to 20 hours. Check the matte finish regularly. Even out the finish with black sandpaper.
Antique (patinated) – Place the steel in a damp environment (preferably outside) and let it rust. Brush away the red rust layer — the corroded top layer stays.

Packed with 100% recycled material
We pack this article using only 100% recycled plastic and recycled paper/cardboard from FSC-certified forests. We reuse a large portion of the material directly, without going through a recycling process. Recycle the material by sorting your waste.
1. Cardboard: sort or reuse paper.
2. Plastic cushions, clothing bags, and plastic tape: sort or reuse plastic. Pierce the cushions with a needle to reduce volume if needed.
3. Paper packaging for jewelry and small items: these have a plastic inner layer. Remove it, then sort paper and plastic separately.
