Product description

This brooch is a replica of a 10th-century original excavated in Boge, Gotland, Sweden. Found almost exclusively in Gotland, the box or drum brooch was worn there between the 8th and 11th centuries by Viking women to fasten their hangerocs. These brooches also served as anchors for bead necklaces and other necklaces.
