Product description
This beautiful knife is perfect for all kinds of chores in the reenactment camp, such as cutting meat, plants, herbs and the like. The curved blade makes it easy and convenient to use. Made from Damascus steel, this blade carries a rich history. The original method of making Damascus steel from wootz was lost in the modern era. Today, the term Damascus steel or damask refers to pattern welding (pattern welded) or melted steel (wootz), made from two or more steel types. During the Viking age and the Middle Ages, Damascus steel knives were traded from the east, prized for their beauty, quality and strength.
