Product description
New from Red Dragon — known for their high-quality HEMA plastic training swords — this line of high-level historical sword replicas comes with a leather scabbard. Built from high-quality steel with excellent hardness, these swords are suitable for intensive training.
The Oakeshott Type XIII was commonly worn by knights and Templars. It is an excellent example of the transition between classical knightly swords and later swords focused on thrusting.
This sword features a wooden scabbard wrapped in brown leather with a brown leather grip. The edge is 1.5 mm thick. The blade is tempered and made from EN42J spring steel, with a core hardness of 45 HRC and an edge hardness of 50 HRC. These two different hardness levels make the sword flexible and less brittle than comparable models — the result of excellent craftsmanship and years of HEMA experience.
