Ready to build your own LARP weapon? Cut the foam into your desired shape and glue it around a sanded fiberglass core — sanding the core helps the surface grip the glue better. Leave enough foam around the core for safety and sturdiness. Once you've got the shape you want, dip the weapon in latex and let it dry between coats for a smooth, protective finish.
Keep your weapon in good shape by treating it regularly with silicone spray to prevent drying out.
