Product description
These Slavic rings are replicas of various Early Medieval originals. Slavic, Germanic, Frankish, and Alamanic peoples wore rings like these woven into their hair. Archaeologists have found such rings in Germanic graves in southern Germany, and people used them well into the 12th century. They were often woven into the hair in pairs or more at the temples — hence the name "temple ring." These rings are an early medieval form of hair decoration.
