Product description
The name sgian dubh means "black knife." Highlanders mainly wore this knife in their sleeve during the 17th and 18th centuries. By custom, a highlander entering a house would leave his sword behind. But if a fight broke out, he could draw a sgian dubh hidden in his sock to defend himself. After Culloden, soldiers of the Black Watch regiment always kept this dagger in their sock. The knife measures 17 cm in total length and comes with a scabbard.
