Product description
The Scottish kilt has been the national symbol of the Scotsman since the 18th century. It developed from the ancient Scottish costume of the leine, brat and ionar.
Tartan is the famous Scottish plaid fabric made by interweaving alternating colored rows of threads. This material has been worn throughout history in Scotland. The Celts were also known to wear it, and the fabric was already recognized in Roman times for its quality and unique appearance. Centuries later, tartan became a symbol for certain clans.
Made from a heavy fabric, this kilt falls to just above the knee. Close it with leather straps and buckles. The fabric comes pre-pleated, and the front features a double layer of fabric.
