Product description
This beautifully decorated belt fitting is perfect for making your own Roman belts or for use as a spare part. Based on an original from the 2nd half of the 1st century AD, it was found in Serbia, near Tekija, which was part of the Roman province of Pannonia. Originally it sat on the belt of a Roman legionary: the cingulum or balteus. Made from brass with a tin coating, it has the look of silver. Pre-drilled holes make it easy to fasten to your belt.
