Product description
A beautiful Renaissance dagger by Windlass Steelcrafts, featuring a silver-plated hilt and scabbard. Perfect for Renaissance reenactment and collectors of medieval and Renaissance daggers. This dagger is an exact replica of an original shown in the book European Daggers by Bashford Dean. Made around 1590, the original was worn on a belt for close combat on the battlefield. It also served as a status symbol, worn with historical garments for self-defense. The semi-sharp blade is made from 1055 carbon steel with a hardness of 48–52 HRC and comes with a scabbard. When blunted, the blade is perfect for Historical European Martial Arts.
