Product description
A beautiful rapier by Windlass Steelcrafts, modeled after Renaissance rapiers from the 16th and 17th century. Aristocrats primarily wore rapiers for dueling — both as a fashion accessory and to impress others. It features an elegant, sleek design with a polished bone grip and a beautifully shaped pommel. Use the long cross-guard to block your opponent's sword, and rely on the basket to protect your hand during a duel. Comes with a leather scabbard. The semi-sharp blade is forged from tempered 1065 carbon steel with a hardness of 48–52 HRC. A great wall display piece and collector's rapier — also perfect for a Three Musketeers cosplay costume or reenactment of Borgia, Medici, and other Renaissance aristocratic families. Blunt the blade and it works as a training sword for Historical European Martial Arts.
