A beautiful rapier by Windlass Steelcraft, based on an original in the Royal Armouries collection in London — one of the most beautiful rapiers in the world! The flamboyant basket is richly decorated with birds and plant motifs. It protects your hand during sword fighting or fencing, while the cross-guard blocks your opponent's rapier. The heavy pommel delivers great balance, and the grip is wrapped with braided steel wire. Both sides of the blade are etched with the text: CHRISTUS IMPERAT — meaning: Christ commands. The rapier comes with a leather scabbard. The semi-sharp tempered blade is forged from 1065 carbon steel with a hardness of 48–52 HRC. Display it on the wall, use it for 17th-century reenactment, or bring it to a Three Musketeers Cosplay. Blunt the blade and you have an excellent battle-ready rapier for reenactment battles and a great training sword for fencing and Historical European Martial Arts.
