Product description
The Roman pilum is modeled after a 3rd-century original, used by early legionaries, hastati, and principes. During the time of Marius, the entire legion carried these weapons. When the pilum hit a target, the spearhead bent so the enemy couldn't throw it back.
The shaft includes a shaft cap and is wrapped with cord. The pilum is 215 cm long, weighs about 2.2 kg, and comes in 2 parts. Made from wood and 9260 carbon steel.
This item cannot be shipped to countries outside the EU due to its length.
