This pilgrimage badge depicts a procession of three phalli carrying a crowned vulva, inspired by a late medieval original dating from 1375–1450 AD. Discovered in Bruges, Belgium, the historical model is part of the Van Beuningen family collection. Made from high-quality silvered bronze.

A broad pin on the back — matching the medieval originals — lets you attach it to clothing in the traditional way. An eyelet on the back also lets you wear it as a pendant around your neck. It measures 5 x 3.8 cm, combining historical authenticity with modern functionality.

The phallus procession is a mocking, satirical take on a relic procession — a theme that also appears in the marginal decorations of 14th-century manuscripts, where animals humorously take on human roles. The crowned vulva parodies the Virgin Mary and serves as a crude reference to "Vrouw Minne," the Middle Dutch equivalent of Venus, blending religious satire with bawdy humor.
