Product description
These pauldrons are made in the style of the mid-14th century. Worn over a mail hauberk, they provide additional shoulder protection for the knights and men-at-arms of the Hundred Years War between France and Britain. Armor of this period was not full plate like the styles of the 15th century — instead, plate armor pieces were worn over a full hauberk to protect the front of the chest and arms. The pauldrons have a steel thickness of 1.6 mm, making them suitable for medieval reenactment. They come with arming points so you can easily attach them to an arming doublet or chainmail using leather cord or aiglet laces.
