Product description
A beautiful saber by Windlass Steelcrafts, based on sabers carried by officers during the American Revolution. The colonists who sought to found the United States received help from the French government. This saber draws from the sabers of the French Hussars, made in the French style of the 1700s. The French Hussars were a great example for the 13 American colonies, and the French Revolution itself was an inspiration for the American Revolution against the English. The saber features a wooden grip with a spiral pattern and comes with a scabbard. The extremely strong, semi-sharp blade is forged from tempered 1085 carbon steel with a hardness of 52 HRC. Display it on the wall or on a sword stand — it also works perfectly for reenactment of American history. Blunt the blade and you have an excellent battle-ready sword for sword fighting.
