Product description
This type of medieval boot was worn from the second part of the 13th century. During the 15th century, these boots became so popular that the debated poulaine laws were introduced in 1450. These laws regulated the length of the poulaines and the degree of curvature of the nose. In 1463, it became prohibited in Edward IV's England for citizens, knights, squires, and noblemen to wear poulaines with a nose longer than 2 inches.
Fasten these boots easily using the included straps. They come in several sizes and are made from 2 mm thick cowhide. The soles are made from hard rubber.
