Product description
This replica sword is based on historical swords from the time of the Battle of Bosworth, in 1485. This type of broadsword is also called a bastard sword. Despite its large size, it is remarkably light and well-balanced. The beautiful leather-wrapped grip sits comfortably in the hand, and you can also use it as a two-handed sword. The blade is forged from 1065 carbon steel tempered to a hardness of 48–52 HRC and is semi-sharp. It makes a great decorative addition to your replica sword collection, pairs well with a medieval costume, or works perfectly for living history. Blunt the blade and it becomes a battle-ready sword for sword fighting and reenactment battles. The sword ships with a medieval leather scabbard included.
