Product description
The main-gauche was used throughout Europe between the 16th and 18th centuries. Designed as a left-handed companion to the rapier, it features an extra rounded cross-guard that makes parrying and blocking thrusts from swords and rapiers easy and effective. A finger ring adds further control. The bone handle gives the main-gauche an elegant finish. It measures 44 cm overall with a 27 cm blade and weighs about 0.5 kg.
