Product description
This children's armor is based on the Corbridge type lorica segmentata from the 1st century AD. The name comes from the town of Corbridge in northern England, where remains of Loricae segmentatae have been found. This was the site of the old Corstopitum fort, an important base for the Roman army at Hadrian's Wall. Made from aluminum, the lorica is light and easy for kids to wear — and completely maintenance-free. Unlike steel, aluminum doesn't rust. The lorica features brass fittings and leather laces at the front to close it.
