Product description
These leg wrappings are based on early medieval originals. Archaeological evidence shows that leg wrappings were worn in Germanic regions from the 2nd century AD. Romans at Hadrian's Wall wore them, as did the Byzantines, Franks, Alemanni, Bavarians, Wends (Slavs), Normans, Vikings, and others from Central and Northern Europe. Felt, wool, linen, and leather were the most common materials. Made from 100% cotton.
