Product description
These leg wrappings are based on early medieval originals. Archaeological evidence shows leg wrappings were worn in Germanic regions from the 2nd century AD. Romans at Hadrian's Wall wore them, as did the Byzantines, Franks, Alemanni, Bavarians, Wends (Slavs), Normans, Vikings, and other peoples from Central and Northern Europe. Common materials included felt, wool, linen, and leather. The fabric features a beautiful historical herringbone pattern. Use the included cotton ribbons to fasten them securely. Sold per pair.
