This Roman subarmalis is a replica of originals depicted on various Roman sculptures. Wear it under the Lorica hamata or Lorica segmentata, though sculptures most often show it under the musculata — the armor typically worn by great Roman generals and emperors. Made from 2–3 mm thick leather, it features the characteristic leather pteruges (fringes) visible below the plate armor. Fully functional and adjustable to the correct size.
