Product description
This imposing spearhead is made from hardened EN45 carbon steel. It suits the Viking Age and the Middle Ages (10th/11th century – Type K/M according to Petersen). It measures about 52 cm (20.5 in) in length, with cutting edges of about 29 cm (11.4 in). The blade tapers strongly from a broad base to a long, narrow point, reinforced by a prominent raised rim along the center for extra strength and piercing ability. Use the two pre-drilled holes to attach the spearhead to a wooden shaft of your choice and build your own Viking or early medieval spear. Shaft and additional mounting material are not included.
