This shirt is made in the style worn by the German Landsknechten — mercenaries with a formidable reputation. They consisted mostly of pikemen and foot soldiers, and their mercenary activities grew into one of the most essential military powers in 15th–16th century Europe.
The Landsknechten wore colorful garments. These sleeves follow that tradition, featuring contrasting inserts that close with three buttons at the cuffs. The shirt has a V-neck with lacing at the front.
