Product description
A one-of-a-kind gift. Handmade from wood with a red fabric interior, this jewelry box is perfect for storing your most special pieces. The Vegvisir is a symbol from the Icelandic Huld manuscript, a 19th-century occult book of spells. Vegvisir means "that which shows the way." Anyone who wore this magical symbol would never get lost in a storm. Whether early medieval Vikings knew this symbol remains unknown. In modern Viking culture and among neo-pagans, it plays an important role and has taken on a new context.
