Product description
A beautiful rapier by Windlass Steelcrafts, made after historical swords from the 17th century. Rapiers like this were used mainly for dueling. The grip is wound with steel wire, keeping it firmly in hand during sword fighting. Rings of braided steel wire finish the top and bottom. The basket guards the hand from strikes. Comes with a scabbard featuring engraved Renaissance art motifs. The semi-sharp blade is forged from tempered 1065 carbon steel at 48–52 HRC hardness. A great sword for display on the wall or for rapier collectors. Also perfect for a Three Musketeers cosplay costume or Golden Age reenactment. Blunt the blade and use it for training or Historical European Martial Arts.
