These timeless kids' sandals were worn from the Stone Age through Classical Antiquity and into the Early Middle Ages — and possibly even later. Several originals of this type have been excavated, including an early medieval example from Ireland. Made from suede leather with a rubber sole for extra grip, they're built to resist slipping.
