This lock is a replica of a 15th-century original found in London. It now belongs to the collection of the Museum of London. Locks like this saw use across Europe from the 14th through the 16th century.
Made from iron, it is fully functional and easy to close. It measures 15 cm long and weighs about 0.8 kg.
