Product description
Designed for HEMA — historical European Martial Arts — the federschwert is built for training. Fighting schools across the 15th and 16th centuries used federschwerter as training swords. The name comes from the removal of the blade's side edges, making the weapon faster than hand-and-a-half and two-handed battlefield swords. This federschwert features a blade with hard flexibility, rated to a maximum pressure of 14 to 15 kg. The tip includes a thickening for added safety.
