Product description
This Germanic fibula is a replica of a 6th–7th century original excavated in Kent, England. Germanic tribes wore fibulae like this all across Europe, with particular popularity in the Rhine region. The original is now part of the collection of the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford. Germanic women — including Merovingian and Anglo-Saxon — wore fibulae like these in pairs.Product details
