Product description
This jewel is a replica of a Frankish/Merovingian original from the 7th/8th century. It was discovered in a grave field in Picquigny, France. The piece reflects the wealth of the early Middle Ages. The original is currently part of the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford, England. Unlike the original, the crystal is made from polished hand-crafted glass — nearly indistinguishable from real crystal.
