Product description
This jewel is a replica of a 6th–7th century Merovingian original excavated in Faversham, Kent (England). Made from enamel, this handmade jewel reproduces a piece now held in the collection of the British Museum in London. Jewels like these were worn mainly between the 6th and 8th centuries by Frankish tribes like the Merovingians, and by the Anglo-Saxons as well.
