Product description

This helmet is made after several originals of a pretorian helmet. The imperial guard was founded in 27 BC by Emperor August. The guard could serve the emperor as a private army, but it could also become a threat to the emperor. The helmet has obvious Greek influences in its design.

The helmet is made of high quality brass and is richly decorated with motives from the high emperor period to the late emperor period. It has a crest of red horsehair. The helmet is suitable for a head circumference up to 64 cm, its length is approx. 23,5 and it weighs approx. 2,5 kg.
