Product description
Roman legionaries wore the lorica segmentata from the 1st century AD. This type of armor plate featured iron strips attached to the inside on a leather strap. This reconstruction is based on one of the three types of loricae segmentatae found in Corbridge, Northern England. Models like this were probably used between 40 and 140 AD.
Made from 1.2 mm thick steel, this lorica segmentata fits a chest circumference up to 110 cm.
