Product description
This is a replica of a Corinthic-Italic helmet from the 5th century BC. This type of helmet was particularly popular during the Archaic period: the 8th to 6th century BC. From the 5th century BC on, people favored the Thracian helmet for its better field of view. In Italy, soldiers wore the helmet during the Roman Kingdom period — both Romans and Etruscans.
This Italic-Corinthic replica comes without a crest holder. Made from 1.3 mm thick bronzed steel, it includes a leather inlay for added comfort and a chin strap to keep it secure. Fits head circumferences up to 61 cm and weighs 1.3 kg.
