Product description
This sword is based on a 13th-century original now held in the collection of the Royal Armouries in Leeds. An Oakeshott type XII, it was one of the first swords designed with a blade for both stabbing and slashing. Warriors carried swords like this across feudal Europe during the era of the Crusades. Archaeologists have uncovered examples across Europe and as far away as Israel. Comes with a scabbard.
