Product description
This sword is based on a 13th century original. Today, the original is part of the Royal Armouries collection in Leeds. An Oakeshott type XII, it was one of the first swords with a blade built for both stabbing and slashing. Swords like this saw use across feudal Europe and were worn throughout the Crusades era. Examples have been excavated across Europe and as far away as Israel. Comes complete with scabbard.
