This beautiful chestplate is modeled after 16th–17th century originals worn during the British Civil War, among the Landsknechten, and throughout the Tudor period. The cuirass features rope-shaped decorative edges. The back armor consists of two lamellars, keeping it comfortable during cavalry activities.
