Product description

This sword is based on a 13th-century original used during the late Crusades. The original is now part of the collection of the Deutsches Historisches Museum in Berlin. This traditional one-handed sword features an Oakeshott type 1 pommel with a cross motif engraved on it. The wooden grip is decorated on both sides with brass rings. It comes with a wooden scabbard covered in leather. The blade is made from 1075 carbon steel with a hardness of 45 HRC in the core and 50 HRC at the edges, making it both flexible and strong.
