Product description
This helmet first appeared on the battlefield in the 13th century. The design proved so successful that warriors used it for nearly three centuries. A terrifying fixed sight gives any approaching knight an intimidating look. This large helmet draws inspiration from a statue at Olite Cathedral, dating from the mid-13th century. Helmets of this type were most common from the mid-13th century through the early 14th century — as seen in sources like the Codex Manesse, the Maziejowsky Bible, and the Cantigas. At 1.6 mm thick, it is built for reenactment use.
