Rigid collodion is a syrupy solution made from pyroxylin dissolved in an ether and alcohol solvent. Use it to create all kinds of special effects on the skin for LARP, theater, film, and costumes. Create scars, wrinkles, burns, and other wounds with ease. How to use: apply a thin layer of collodion to fleshy skin and let it dry completely. You'll feel it drying and pulling where it touches the skin. The looser the skin, the more dramatic the effect — it looks especially great on the cheeks! Apply a few layers to build deeper lines. To enhance the effect, add water-based makeup in pink and red tones for wounds and scars. Remove collodion with collodion remover when you're done. Warning: don't apply collodion too often to the same area of skin to avoid damage. Do not use near the eyes or mouth! Apply in a well-ventilated area. Keep away from open flames — highly flammable!
