Product description
The bascinet was a helmet without a visor, worn under the Great Helmet in the early 14th century. Around 1450, warriors began wearing the bascinet independently with a visor attached. Its tapered shape deflects blows, which is why it is often called a hounskull or pic faced bascinet. This helmet offers optimal protection for the head and neck, making it ideal for both the battlefield and tournaments.
