This chaperon is based on several 14th and 15th century manuscripts, pen drawings, and sculptures. Chaperons like this were worn throughout feudal Europe. They protect the head, neck, and shoulders from rain and cold. Worn by people of all classes and both sexes.
Made from cotton, it features a medium-length tip and a flared bottom. Each chaperon is hand-dyed.
