This chaperon is based on several 14th and 15th century manuscripts, pen drawings, and sculptures. People across all classes of feudal European society wore chaperons like this — men and women alike. They protect the head, neck, and shoulders from rain and cold.
Made from cotton, it features a medium-length tip and a flared bottom. Each chaperon is hand-dyed.
