Product description
Braies were the underpants of the Middle Ages. Men wore them under their pants or under the chausses. Over the centuries, the style got shorter and shorter — but originally braies reached to the knees or even to the ground. You can spot braies in various medieval manuscripts and on statues, including the sculptures of the cathedral in Reims.
These braies feature a drawstring around the waist so you can adjust the fit to your size. Made from cotton, they are very comfortable to wear.
