This summer blouse is made from lightweight cotton fabric with a loose fit. Lacing under the bust pulls it into a close-fitting shape. The neckline is slit and features a small stand-up collar. Small slits at the side seams let the blouse drape nicely over the hips. Box pleats at the shoulders and back center keep the fit right. Blouses are historically more associated with the Renaissance than the Middle Ages, but this one creates a beautiful Viking or medieval look when paired with a skirt and bodice or pants and a cloak. Wear it in an oriental context too. A fantastic blouse for festivals and LARP.
