This Viking belt fitting is based on a 9th–10th century original excavated at the Viking town of Birka. Four pins secure it directly to your belt. The art style originated in the Middle East. Vikings brought jewelry in this style along trade routes and presented it as a burial gift to the owner — most likely a tradesman.
